Serving the Syracuse area for ten years, the Clay Eye Center provides state of the art ophthalmic care for adults and pediatric patients. Established by Marc Safran, MD, the office offers examinations, refractions, and surgical procedures for common ocular disorders.

The Clay Eye Center has served more than 13,000 patients since it's inception in 1999 and is highly regarded both by professionals and patients in the area. Dr. Safran works closely with numerous physician offices, optometrists, and ophthalmologists and serves as a faculty member at the State University of New York. The office has a reputation of being efficient yet very courteous. Patient wait times are kept to a minimum and we have complimentary fresh-brewed coffee for our adults and a nice toy chest to make all our children have a pleasant visit. We electronically file your insurance claims for you and can answer any questions you have during the visit. All our records are digitally stored in electronic record systems as are results of any testing we perform.

Located just one mile south of Great Northern Mall, at the intersection of Oswego Road and Soule Road, the Clay Eye Center is a convenient office for patients throughout the Syracuse area. It is easily accessible from major highways including Rts 481, 81 and the Interstate as well as John Glenn Hwy and Route 690. Parking is free and convenient and there is an elevator in the building for handicapped individuals.
